Installation Manager - Security Doors / Shutters
The company designs, manufactures and installs a range of industrial doors and fire shutters. They also offer a maintenance and repair service for most types of door and shutter systems.
The Role: To run 6 teams of fitters and sub-contract labour on contracts all over the UK
Ensure all methods statements and risk assessments are sent to the client on time
Arrange and ensure sites are ready for installation works to commence, and that all equipment and plant are on site on time.
Daily contact with Contracts Manager for forward planning on new contracts coming up.
Control vehicles maintenance schedule, arranging the necessary servicing and repairs.
Budget control on contracts
Daily invoicing for the Accounts Department
Ideal Candidate: Experience of managing teams of field technical installation/maintenance staff from a central location.
Sound H&S knowledge/training -experience of producing method/risk statements.
Proven planning skills/experience to meet work deadlines/schedules.
IT literate
Experience of effectively managing departmental/contract budgets
Excellent internal and external stakeholder communication skills.
Experience of the products (shutters/security doors etc.) a distinct advantage.
