Ian Banks
Founder of One to One Personnel
Falling into a recruitment career by chance in 1996 with a start up business specialising in Multi Sector recruitment I went on to successfully build the business into a chain of branches in the Essex region. After eight years I decided to go it alone and One to One personnel was born. My vision for the business is to become one of the most well respected recruitment companies in our region with relationships built on trust, excellent service and market knowledge. "We always go that extra mile to help our clients, in the belief that good service makes loyal advocates" My team have been working with me for years; they are passionate about making the best out of everything they do. One to One would not be as successful as it is today without such a dedicated and hardworking team of consultants and support staff, they are instrumental in the future of this business and its continual improvement.
Tracey Cook
Senior Consultant
Tracey has been a Consultant at One to One Personnel since its inception in 2004, having previously worked for Ian Banks as a Branch Manager. Tracey started her career over 20 years ago within Hotel Management in London before moving into Event Management within a London based charity; King Edwards Hospital Fund for London, where she hosted events in both UK and Europe, from 20 to 500 delegates. She "dived" into recruitment after being head-hunted by Ian (a fellow scuba addict) during their training to become Scuba Instructors. "Having dealt with recruitment agencies as an end user I felt that the market had a need for a more open and honest approach for both client and candidates alike" .
Paula Treadgold
Administration and Accounts Manager
Paula originally joined Ian Banks as a Branch Administrator over 10 years ago. She left the recruitment industry in 2004 after an opportunity to pursue a new career within the IT training industry. She was approached in 2004 by Ian to head up the administration and accounts department of his new venture One to One Personnel. Paula has been with the company since day one and is instrumental in the smooth running of the integral parts of the business providing payroll, administration and financial control in her naturally methodical and efficient way.
Julia Lagna
Consultant
Julia has worked within the recruitment industry for nearly five years, originally working with Ian Banks and colleagues Tracey cook and Jody Lacey. In 2006 Julia took the opportunity to travel around Australia and New Zealand and whilst setting up a temporary home in Australia Julia was offered a role within a global recruitment company Hudson Global, working as a Candidate Manager/Recruitment Assistant. Since Julia's return in 2007 she has carved a role for herself on the temporary's desk as a Consultant maintaining an excellent rapport with all of our candidates and clients.
Natalie Weaver
Consultant
Natalie Weaver comes from a HR and Training background where she was employed as a training specialist for a large blue chip company employing over 250 staff. Her exceptional eye for detail and ability to organise on a large scale lends unparalleled support to the selection and recruitment function. Natalie works hand in hand with Tracey Cook serving the ongoing recruitment needs of key accounts by finding, selecting and scrutinising every applicant who comes through the door here at One to One. Natalie's hard-working and meticulous nature makes is the perfect complement to the rigours of the modern day recruitment bureau.
Steve Marney
Senior Consultant
Steve Marney is based at the Southend office and heads up the Construction Division of One to One. Working with clients across the South East, Steve has successfully built an impressive data base of work ready skilled Tradesmen and Construction Professionals who can be called upon at short notice. Steve has worked in the construction recruitment for the last seven years employing hundreds of staff across the whole construction spectrum from small one off projects and refurbishments to massive developments like the London Olympics. Steve has a comprehensive knowledge of the wide ranging skills the construction industry employs and understands the difficulties in finding conscientious quality craftsmen and labour and works tirelessly to make sure that his client's needs are met every time.
Sophie Wass
Consultant
Sophie Wass joins us from a large national agency, having accrued experience within the placement of temporary and Contract Staff in the Contact Centre, Banking and Finance and Administration sectors. Sophie is passionate about her job and prides herself on her ability to under promise and over deliver. A dedicated recruiter who's focus is to deliver on time, every time. Her aptitude to building long term relationships with both clients and candidates alike, combined with her understanding of the employment market and her local knowledge has given Sophie the unique ability to serve her clients and candidates equally well, fitting in to the One to One culture of honesty and transparency at all times.
Kevin Butler CertRP
Senior Consultant
Kevin Butler CertRP heads up One to One Personnel's Engineering and Technical division Hinson May Consulting. Kevin's experience of working for international energy companies, including exposure to renewables trading and green energy initiatives, coupled with his experience of recruiting for construction and engineering professionals up to board level, allows Kevin to offer a fresh and informed partnering approach to candidate sourcing and placement for clients across the Renewable Energy, Environmental and Engineering/Technical sectors. Kevin's pragmatic and thorough approach to the recruitment process ensures Hinson May's growing good reputation as one of the South East's most methodical and well respected recruiters in the Engineering sector.
