Outplacement:
Taking your business beyond expectations
Outplacement Explained
- Outplacement is practical support from professional consultants with years of experience in the employment industry designed to help people who are going through the redundancy or severance process maximise their potential during the next stage of their careers.
- Outplacement can be used to help individuals through one to one consultations and group workshops. Both are designed to help people make the right choices by assessing current skill levels and providing practical help with CV preparation, covering letters, and interview etiquette, learning new skills and coping with change.
Why spend the money?
- Change can have a profound affect on staff morale, your businesses performance and its reputation. How you handle that change can make big differences to future success.
Helping the people who have to move on.
- The shock of losing your job is hard to come to terms with. Outplacement helps make that process more comfortable, providing people with self-assurance and control so they feel more confident about their future.
- Making the redundancy process as pain free as possible helps people move on and forward in a positive manner; from an employer's perspective outplacement can have a beneficial effect on your business by bolstering your reputation as an employer who puts its people first.
- No outplacement service can guarantee jobs for everyone. However your employees, after their initial consultation or workshop will have the added benefit of our in house recruitment consultancy, which puts them in an excellent position to find out about new job opportunities before anyone else.
- Helping those who stay
- The survivors of a re-structure are affected by change as well. Seeing friends and colleagues lose their jobs has a negative effect on morale. Handling change in a constructive way helps build bridges within. After the dust has settled your remaining staff will be more loyal because of it.
Positive Benefits
- Enlisting our services during the early stages of re-structure can help make the whole process easier and much less stressful.
- The chances of unfair dismissal claims or employee retribution are greatly reduced when using an outplacement programme; which could save money on unnecessary legal fees.
