Industrial Electricians (Days) - Permanent/£15.50 per hour (normal time)

Are you a 17th Edition qualified industrial Electrician?
Do you have a knowledge of Variable Speed Drives, Controls and Electromechanical Systems?
Are you a driver able to work permanently in the Grays (Essex) area?

Our client is an established and successful business with a presence in several regional locations around the UK.

The role/responsibilities include:

* Carry out electrical installation work efficiently in accordance with IET Wiring Regulations for Electrical Installations (BS7671).
* Work within the electrical team, including maintenance, repairs of electrical systems
* Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus including LV Circuits, Electrical motors, power and lighting, using test equipment,
* Routine checking and testing of all types of electrical systems, equipment and components
* Work permanent Day shift but also provide shift cover for colleagues on occasion (due to holidays or sickness/absence)
* Please note the company provide specialist tools, testing equipment etc however you will be expected to provide your own basic electrical tools/toolkit which will then be replaced by the company for wear and tear. A locker is provided to keep your tools separate and safe.

Is this you?

* Good knowledge of Fault finding/trouble shooting Skills, interpretation and understanding of electrical drawings and schematics.
* Health and safety at work, ability to identify hazards, safe working requirements and procedures.
* A willingness to cover the shift electricians during holidays or sickness
* Good knowledge of electrical Variable Speed Drives, controls and electromechanical systems.
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
* A minimum qualification of the City and Guilds of London Institute Certificate:
* Electrical Installation Part II or III,
* or Electrical Plant Part II or III,
* A relevant Electrical NVQ Level III and/or having completed a recognized electrical apprenticeship.
* BS7671 17th Edition IET Wiring Regulation
* Have your own basic toolkit that can be used for work (company will then replace tools in the event of breakage or wear and tear at work)
