Our client is based locally to central Southend and due to an increase in demand are looking for an experienced TRADE COUNTER ASSISTANT to join their exiting team.
Must have previous trade counter experience, be able to work unsupervised after training period and show initiative regarding customer service abilities. Knowledge of computerised systems within the trade counter environment is essential together with a ‘can do’ attitude.
To provide assistance to customers both face to face and over the phone regarding stock availability, suitable alternative products and associated advice. Knowledge of warehouse procedures is required with the ability to be able to pick and pack from a stocking list and the ability to load and unload when required.
This is a temp to perm position with a starting salary between £18,000 to £20,000 depending upon experience.
Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with an early finish on a Friday.
