Job Description

This interesting technical role would suit an experienced Electronics Engineer/Project Manager with a broad knowledge of Power Electronics and Analogue Electronics, design and simulation.

The Role:

Key Duties/Responsibilities include:

* To provide technical direction and proactively lead a team of assigned engineers to manage new and existing projects
* Ensuring that all activities associated to the project life cycle including conceptual design, drawings, BOM's, prototyping, verification, qualification, commissioning, documentation, customer support and post development tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively and within the agreed timelines
* Generate detailed program plans,
* Lead by example and ensure that engineering practices are always carried out to the highest standards within your assigned project team and the engineering department
* Mentor and manage the project team and individual engineer's activities

The Candidate: Does the below sound like you?

* Relevant Electronics/Electrical degree
* Strong level of understanding in analogue electronics and design, power supply technologies (preferable switch mode) and/or related power electronics field such as motor, inverters, etc
* Project Management experience
* Senior Engineer experience
* Conscientious, dynamic, proactive, creative, enthusiastic, team player.
* Able to work permanently in the Huntingdon, Cambs, area.
