Field Based | Northern Region (Midlands upwards) | 37.5 Hours
This is an opportunity for a diagnostic imaging sales specialist with extensive UKI healthcare experience, strong commercial and contracting expertise, and a consistent record of delivering revenue through managed and maintenance service solutions. This is a field-based role covering the northern region (Midlands upwards), with flexible crossover into the south depending on account and opportunity volumes.
You will be working for our client, a market-leading provider of Managed Equipment Services (MES) to the NHS and private healthcare sector across the UK, who is seeking an UKI Sales Specialist, in Diagnostic Imaging Services to join their field-based team.
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years’ UK diagnostic imaging sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for sales of diagnostic imaging services with a focus on:
- Managed services
- Maintenance services
- Understand and interpret diagnostic imaging customer requirements
- Develop and deliver service offerings that meet the requirements of each customer and the business
- Support the operational teams in continuous development of diagnostic imaging services
- Support the hand-over of new services to the operational teams
Resources/Decision-making Authority
- Contributor to the Business Development team to agree whether resources should be allocated to individual sales opportunities
- Signatory sign-off of relevant customer-facing proposals and formal bids and quotations as per quality management system and bid process
Accountabilities
- Deliver wins equal to the annual revenues target for the DI services modality
- Develop, deliver and update modality-specific sales and marketing support materials
- Provide technical/expert diagnostic imaging support for managed services, maintenance, equipment sales and rentals
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of modality-specific products and service offerings including competitor analysis – gathering, analysing and distributing market and competitor information
- Provide clinical, technical and commercial support and insight to the commercial teams including development of sales proposals, formal bids and quotations, and variations to existing customer contracts – both written and financial
- Support the commercial close, implementation, and go-live of new contracts and services

- Relevant modality qualifications - Essential
- Educated to degree-level

- Demonstrable track record of success within healthcare solutions selling

- 5 years of customer-facing sales or commercial experience within the UKI health sector
