Trade Counter and Warehouse Assistant

Our client is a busy and growing electrical wholesaler looking for a reliable and hardworking Trade Counter and Warehouse Assistant to join our small, friendly team. This role is mainly customer facing on the trade counter, while also supporting the warehouse when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving customers on the trade counter
- Welcoming customers and assisting with enquiries
- Learning and using the company computer system to process orders
- Picking and preparing customer orders
- Booking in deliveries and helping organise stock
- Replenishing shelves and maintaining product availability
- Supporting the warehouse team with picking, packing, and preparing orders
- Providing general support to the sales and warehouse teams when needed
Training & Development:
- Full product and system training provided
- Opportunity to gain forklift certification after an initial period
Skills Required:
- Friendly and confident dealing with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- IT literate and comfortable using computer systems
- Team player who works well in a small team environment
- Organised and able to work in a busy trade environment
- No previous experience required – training will be provided

- Monday – Thursday: 6:30am – 5:30pm
- Friday: 6:30am – 4:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm (every other Saturday)
- 1 hour lunch break
