Are you a target driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships and converting enquiries into bookings? We are looking for a motivated Travel Sales Consultant to join a growing team delivering exciting educational travel experiences in the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new customer enquiries and manage existing accounts
  • Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through exceptional communication and call management
  • Create tailored tour proposals that meet clients’ educational and travel requirements
  • Accurately cost travel proposals using internal systems
  • Provide detailed information on accommodation, transport, destinations, and educational visits
  • Liaise with internal departments to confirm travel, accommodation and activity arrangements
  • Costing within budget and client payments are received
  • Build long term client relationships to encourage repeat bookings
  • Ensure a smooth handover of confirmed bookings to the operations team
  • Conduct destination research to maintain up-to-date product knowledge
  • Occasionally participate in inspection visits or tours to gain first-hand product knowledge
  • Support online chat enquiries and social media engagement
  • Contribute ideas for product development and marketing initiatives
  • Assist with improvements to internal processes and procedures
  • Occasionally travel within the UK and internationally

Experience we are looking for:

  • Proven sales experience and target achievement
  • Strong customer service and relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and able to work independently and within a team
