360 Crane Operator/ Material Handler

We are looking to hire a certificated 360 crane operator, to work alongside our clients existing yard operatives at their recycling plant in Rochford, Essex to operate their crane / material re-handler and to assist in the yard.
 

In addition to possessing a valid 360° Material Handler licence, due to the location you will need daily access to your own transport.

 

The role

As a crane operator you will be sorting through scrap metal and dealing with incoming materials.

Operating the Crane / Material Re-Handler and other equipment in a safe, competent manner.

Applicants must be physically fit as the role can be demanding and heavy lifting will be required.

You will also possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and have a track record of working well within a team environment.

 

Duties

• Safely stockpile various grades of scrap metal, and assist with loading and unloading
• Ensure materials are stored in accordance with company policy
• Yard work
• Housekeeping
• Sorting & blending materials
• Adhering to HSE Legislation

 

Monday to Friday

40 hrs per week

Salary upto £34,000 plus overtime plus bens
