Audit Manager (Accounting)

Full Time - Essex

£70,000 per annum - depending on experience and qualifications

Are you ACA/ACCA qualified with proven practice experience and looking for a new opportunity within the Essex area?

We are partnering with a well-established independent accountancy firm who service a multitude of sectors within and around the Essex area.

Our client is seeking a qualified Audit Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and must be comfortable leading and mentoring the Audit team. The successful candidate will have a sufficient practice experience and a wealth of management experience.

 

Duties include

•        Portfolio management for audit and accountancy assignments

•        Supporting Partners and dealing with ad-hoc issues

•        Allocation of assignments to wider team

•        Attending client meetings

•        Communicating with clients and their finance teams

•        Working closely with other departments within the business

•        Managing staff who are working closely on assignments

•        Mentoring and developing team

•        Various ad-hoc departmental responsibilities as and when required

 

 

Experience required


•        Audit experience working with clients across a variety of sectors

•        Excellent communication skills with ability to lead and mentor team is a must

•        Mid-Tier Practice experience is vital

•        Portfolio management experience is essential

•        Awareness of the latest UK GAAP accounting standards

•        Team management experience is crucial

•        Must be IT literate including Xero/Sage

•        Full, clean driving license is essential
