Education, Training & Employment Coordinator | Southend | 37 hours per week | £31,135
One to One Personnel are recruiting on behalf of their client who are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Education, Training & Employment (ETE) Coordinator to support individuals in achieving their education, training and employment goals.
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver person-centred support, helping people build confidence, overcome barriers and progress towards sustainable employment, further education or vocational training.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload, carrying out assessments, developing tailored action plans and providing ongoing coaching and guidance. You will design and deliver engaging employability programmes, workshops and digital skills sessions, while working closely with colleagues and external partners to create meaningful progression opportunities.
You will build strong relationships with employers, training providers, colleges and support agencies to broker employment, volunteering and learning opportunities. The role also involves supporting accredited learning programmes, maintaining accurate case records, monitoring outcomes and using data to continuously improve service delivery.
Key Requirements and What You’ll Need
- Experience supporting individuals facing barriers to employment, education or training.
- Strong one-to-one coaching, mentoring or employability guidance skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and develop personalised action plans.
- Experience delivering employability, confidence-building or training workshops to groups.
- Knowledge of employment pathways, vocational training and further education opportunities.
- Experience building effective relationships with employers, training providers and external agencies.
- Confident using case management systems, databases and Microsoft Office to maintain accurate records and monitor outcomes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while managing your own workload.
- A proactive, person-centred approach with the ability to motivate and empower individuals to achieve sustainable outcomes.
- Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection principles.
- A recognised qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance, Education and Training, or a willingness to work towards one, is desirable.
