Inspector & Packer | Mon to Thurs 8am – 4pm | Leigh-on-Sea | £12.71 per hour
About the Role
One to One Personnel are looking for a reliable, focused and detail-oriented Inspector & Packer to join our clients team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys careful, repetitive work and takes pride in producing work to a high standard. The main part of the role will involve inspecting products for any damage, defects or errors, ensuring that only products meeting the required standards move through to the next stage.
The role will also involve some packing duties, so you will need to be comfortable switching between inspection and packing tasks throughout the day.
After successfully completing 12 weeks of employment, there is the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully inspect products for damage, defects, imperfections or errors.
- Carry out detailed visual quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
- Handle products carefully and efficiently.
- Pack products accurately and securely when required.
- Check products and packaging for any errors before dispatch.
- Identify and report any issues or products that do not meet quality standards.
- Follow clear instructions and established quality-control procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Work consistently to meet daily production and quality targets.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Work as part of a friendly and supportive team.
What You’ll Need
The ideal candidate will be:
- Highly attentive to detail and able to spot small imperfections.
- Patient and comfortable carrying out repetitive inspection work.
- Nimble-fingered and dexterous, with good hand-eye coordination.
- Able to handle small or delicate products carefully.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Comfortable working while seated for periods of time.
- Able to maintain concentration throughout the working day.
- A good team player with a positive attitude.
- Able to follow instructions accurately and consistently.
Previous experience in inspection, quality control, production, assembly or packing would be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be provided.
