HR Officer (Accounting)

Part-Time (3 days per week, 21.6hrs per week) - Essex

£22,800 per annum - depending on experience and qualifications

 

Are you qualified HR Generalist looking for a new opportunity within the Essex area?

We are partnering with a well-established independent accountancy firm who service a multitude of sectors within and around the Essex area.

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Officer to join their team. You will be working closely with the HR Manager in a generalist capacity covering the full employment lifecycle.

 

Duties include

  • Support with recruitment, including managing inbox, liaising with agencies, advertising, sourcing, and interviewing suitable candidates.
  • Working closely with HR Manager to maintain relationships with colleges and universities for graduate and apprentice recruitment
  • Supporting with the implementation and development of policies and procedures. Supporting with staff training as and when required
  • Assisting Manager with employee relations and HR issues, attending exit interviews with leavers when needed
  • Preparing paperwork for relevant HR matters as required
  • Assisting Manager with performance management programme on an annual basis
  • Supporting with projects as and when required
  • Mentoring and developing team
  • Communicating with internal finance teams on monthly payroll and benefits reporting
  • Arranging all staff inductions and probation processes
  • Various ad-hoc departmental responsibilities as and when required

 

Experience

  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation
  • Exceptional communication skills in both verbal and written English
  • At least 2 years’ experience within HR Officer role including recruitment within professional services industry
  • Detailed understanding of HR best practice
  • Must be IT literate including HRIS systems knowledge and MS office

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum CIPD level 3 qualified
