Sales Account Manager
£25,000 - £30,000 |Full-Time | Permanent | Mon–Fri | On-Site Only
Our client is a fast growing international business within the network infrastructure sector. They are seeking a Sales Account Manager to develop existing accounts and generate new business opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual with an interest in technical infrastructure to join a growing and collaborative team.
Full training on products and services will be offered to the successful candidate
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio
- Develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone and email
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Manage quotations, tenders and project responses
- Ensure customer commitments are met regarding quality, delivery and cost
- Maintain excellent levels of customer service and communication
- Support trade shows, industry events and networking activities
- Contribute to sales growth and margin performance
- Work closely with internal technical and engineering teams
- Maintain accurate CRM records and customer information
- Participate in regular sales and project meetings
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience within Account Management, Technical Sales or Business Development
- Experience within Fibre Optics, or similar technical industries preferred but not essential
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
Additional Information:
Some travel may be required for customer meetings
· Commission starts after completion of 6 months training
