Seafront Toilet Cleaner – Temporary
Southend | 9am-6pm | £13.45 PH | Weds, Sat & Sun
We are currently recruiting for a Seafront Toilet Cleaner to join our client in Southend-on-Sea on a temporary basis until the end of September.
This is a hands on cleaning role, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and is comfortable working in a busy public environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain public toilet facilities to a high standard.
- Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, floors and other surfaces.
- Replenish toilet rolls, hand soap, paper towels and other supplies.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and appropriately.
- Carry out regular checks to ensure facilities remain clean, tidy and presentable.
- Respond promptly to spills, mess and other cleaning requirements.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
- Report any damage, maintenance issues or hazards.
- Maintain a professional and courteous approach around members of the public.
- Keep cleaning equipment and supplies stored safely.
- Work independently and manage cleaning duties efficiently throughout the shift.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Good attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a busy public environment.
- Physically able to carry out cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Professional and responsible attitude.
