Responsibilities                                          

  • Ensuring supplier product quality complies with IHL requirements
  • Resolution of supplier product issues
  • Supplier compliance to the SQR1 requirements
  • Development and implementation of supplier corrective action plans
  • Implementing continuous improvement activities
  • Primary liaison between Design, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering and Supplier on quality issues for supplied products
  • Ensuring supplier product quality issues are communicated with the appropriate level of detail to the supplier
  • Lead supplier FAIR process
  • Lead supplier RCA reviews
  • Supporting the Procurement Supplier Manager with supplier production readiness and performance reviews
  • Generating supplier quality reports and metrics to support the Procurement Supplier Manager
  • Responsible for supporting the material review board process
  • Ensure that applicable working areas are safe and that the Health & Safety Policies are observed
  • To carry out any other reasonable, relevant tasks when required
  • Abide by specific internally established control systems and authorities, to lead by personal example and encourage all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the Company’s standards and policies, including its environmental, safety and health policies

Essential Experience

  • Educated to GCSE Level (or equivalent)
  • Quality related certification such as Six Sigma
  • SAP experience
  • AS9100 manufacturing experience
  • High standard of written and oral communication
  • Engineering and manufacturing acumen
  • HNC Mechanical Engineering
  • Quality related certification such as Six Sigma
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 – 17:00 and Friday 8:00 – 13:00

Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum


Our office opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm.
